The Vegan Guide to Lubbock

We recommend getting involved at your community garden and supporting our local farmers’ markets for affordable, fresh, and ethical produce. Thanks to the Texas Hunger Initiative, SNAP recipients can now use money on their Lone Star Cards for double what their dollars are worth for Texas-grown produce at the Lubbock Downtown Farmers Market, Texas Country Farmers Market, and the West End Center Farmers Market from May to October. More information available on the Double Up Food Bucks program website.

You can also find specialty vegan products at the local Asian markets and grocery stores like Sprouts, Market Street, Natural Grocers, and Drug Emporium.

But don’t be afraid of eating out! There are a lot of options from which to choose.
